Zaroka (New Have, Connecticut, USA)

By far, the worst Indian food experience I'v ever had. The service was horrible - I was the only person in the joint, yet they seemed to forget about me. The food was just as bad, if not worse. I made for the lunch buffet and it was if the food had been sitting out all morning - stale, cold, just plain bad.

I would go back because of positive previous experiences, but if this was my first-time to Zaroka, it would be my last!

Tantric (Boston, Massachusetts, USA)

When the opportunity to visit with Dee arises, we venture to Tantric. Another great lunch buffet in the books...

Shanti (Dorchester, Boston, Massachusetts, USA)

While house-sitting for some friends in Dorchester, I made it a priority to visit Santi. A great meal in an up-and-coming part of town (Savin Hill). The food was quite tasty and the service was spot-on. Next time I house-sit, I'll make it a priority for a return visit...

Blue Mango (Raleigh, North Carolina, USA)

A return visit to Blue Mango as a celebratory dinner for Pete and Lindsay's move to New York.  Although priced incredibly high, the food and ambiance did not disappoint.

Arusuvai Indian Chettinad Cuisine (North Brunswick, New Jersey, USA)

Wow! It was happenstance that I visited Arusuvai - but I was pleasantly surprised. This was another inspiring lunch-time buffet. Authentic, flavorful, and priced-right describe this experience!

Maharaja (Cambridge, Massachusetts, UAS)

I ventured to Maharaja for its lunch buffet with a good friend, Joe Villapiano! Quite possibly the best Indian buffet I've been to, certainly the best in a very long time.  They had amazing options - of rich quality...I was very, very impressed and will make a return visit next time I'm in the Greater Boston area!

Ghazal (JP - Boston, Massachusetts, USA)

Ghazal is in the heart of Jamaica Plan.  It is often overshadowed by another Indian restaurant, Bukhara.  I must say, I've had Bhukhara quite a bit because of the reputation.  However, Ghazal takes the tikka! I find the meal to be very tasty and the atmosphere to be spot on for a typical Indian restaurant. In JP, Bukhara has some serious competition....
